Why Should Brett Abrams Remain In Prison?

1.  He was sentenced to LIFE IN PRISON WITHOUT PAROLE.

2.  He has a violent past even before he murdered Kim Goodman.

3.  He was supposed to appear in juvenile court the very day that he murdered Kim Goodman.  The charges:  Looking into Kim's bedroom window!

4.  What in the world will he do if he does get paroled?  He has been incarcerated since age 14, so he has limited education and obviously no social skills.  Besides, who in their right mind would hire a known killer?

5.  If paroled, it would only be a matter of time before Abrams strikes again.

6.  The thought of someone with such a known violent past frightens a lot of people.

7.  Someone like Abrams is a threat to society.

8.  Abrams' victim was afraid of him long before he killed her.

9.  After stabbing Kim Goodman to death, Abrams himself called Ki'm's mother at work to inform her that she needed to come home because "something bad had happened."

10.  The month before Abrams killed Goodman, mental health officials recommended he go to a youth home for children with behavioral problems.

11.  According to the NC Dept. of Corrections public data base, Abrams has had multiple infractions while incarcerated, including assault, fighting, and drug possession.
